From Storjord, you quickly leave the E6 at Junkerdal and start a 15 km climb along highway 77/95 towards the Swedish border. The first few kilometers have a steep incline and are on an old road closed to motor traffic. The climb culminates at 740 meters above sea level before a descent leads to Vuoggatjålme.
The final stretch to Camp Vuoggatjålme, at 481 meters above sea level, provides a fantastic end to the day. Here, north of the Arctic Circle, you'll experience 24 hours of daylight during the summer. The camp offers accommodation, food and a chance to rest. As there are few opportunities to stock up on supplies, we recommend you bring everything you need. The route offers an unforgettable experience in the beautiful Scandinavian nature.
