Today it carries the dream of going to Torsby in northern Värmland, where we have asked some questions to Marc and Joanne who arrange bike packages for MTB cyclists and run the accommodation THE Lodge Torsby. With a magical environment and close connection to both the Klarälvsleden / Klarälvsbanan and the cycling area Biking Torsby, this is a perfect place to start from for the cycling MTB cyclist.

Hi Marc and Joanne! First, we are curious - you left the Netherlands (the country of cyclists already) and moved to Torsby, how are you? We enjoy nature, tranquility and nightlife. The Netherlands still has many opportunities for cycling and enjoying nightlife but there are also 18 million inhabitants. It is very much compared to Värmland with only 280,000 inhabitants!

In Torsby we also enjoy four seasons, love snow very much and are happy to go both slalom and length on Hovfjället. In other seasons, Hovfjällets' Nature Reserve has many opportunities for MTB cycling and hiking. Together with THE LODGE by the lake, it really feels like a real place to live every day! Nearby there are very nice gravel and forest trails, which are perfect for enjoying an MTB experience - both as a beginner and for more advanced cyclists.
