Nordic Camping & Resort, which is Northern Europe's largest camping chain with 7,000 camping sites, starts cooperation with Sweden by Bike. Nordic Camping offers bicycle-friendly accommodation at a number of facilities and its own bicycle package in \u00c5nnaboda outside \u00d6rebro. We took the opportunity to ask some questions to Marcus Tyszkiewicz, Sales Manager. <\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Nordic Camping has started cooperation with Sweden by Bike so that you can find your bike-friendly accommodations and bike packages at Swedenbybike.com. Why did you make that bet?\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We see this investment as a natural step in the development of our facilities and we believe that we have something really good and affordable to offer cycling tourists. We have noticed the increased interest of cycling tourists and when the opportunity came to start a collaboration with Swedenbybike.com we saw it as a matter of course. In the long term, we want to make all our cabins more bike friendly with safe storage in the cabins. Cycling is both an active and gentle way of traveling for the environment, we like that!<\/p>\n\n\n

You have a bicycle package in \u00c5nnaboda in Bergslagen<\/a>. What kind of cycling does it offer?\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c5nnaboda is located in Kilsbergen just outside \u00d6rebro in one of Sweden's best mountain bike areas. It offers more than 200 kilometers of marked cycle paths, which start right outside the door of our facility. The trails vary in severity, so there are trails to suit all our guests. Several long joints that put energy and technology to the test, but also a few short joints for the family of children or beginners. The trails meander up and up the steep slopes of Kilsberg, past old archipelagos and cobblestone fields. Here you really get a feeling of traveling in the wilderness. It is a really lovely feeling that we want more guests to experience. At the facility we also have bicycle and helmet rental for those who want to test out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you tell us briefly about Nordic Camping and what you do?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nordic Camping & Resort is Northern Europe's largest camping chain. After merging with First Camp this spring, we now offer 40 facilities from Lule\u00e5 in the north to Malm\u00f6 in the south. We operate camping facilities and now have 7,000 camping sites and about 1,500 cottages with many affordable offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are your campsites good for cyclists? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Absolutely, many of our facilities are located near bike trails and have a constant flow of bike tourists. except \u00c5nnaboda<\/a> also offers Calm in Falun<\/a> and H\u00f6kens\u00e5s in Tidaholm<\/a> mountain bike trails right at the facilities. Rod at S\u00f6der\u00e5sen<\/a> is also a real bike gem with lots of bike trails in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What kind of service and pleasant activities do you usually have at your campsites? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are incredibly proud of the service at our facilities, thanks to our incredibly capable site managers. All facilities offer laundry facilities, food & beverages and lots of nice activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the summer months we expand the range of activities at our campsites and have packed schedules including kids club, yoga, circus, live bands, obstacle courses and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
