The Göta Canal is one of Sweden's largest buildings of all time, and one of the biggest tourist attractions. This cycle map starts in the west at Lake Vättern and Motala and extends to Lake Roxen and all the way to Little Mem where the canal opens into the plain and the Baltic Sea. The cycling along the canal is mostly flat and offers charming views of boat traffic and a rugged east Gothic landscape.
