Kungsgården Långvind is a hotel beautifully located in an enriched agricultural environment from the Swedish great power era. Here you are close to the sea and to lightly cycled and beautiful trails along the coast and to fabulous Hälsingegårds, which are included in UNESCO's list of inescapable things.

The owners of Kungsgården Långvind have themselves designed a number of exciting and fun bicycle packages, so that you as a guest will find all the gourmet places along the way. You live in one of Långvindsbruk's oldest buildings that used to be homes for the mill's forges, today there are four spacious and beautifully furnished rooms with hotel standards. You sleep in comfortable beds and in the bright rooms with windows in two weather bars you can sink into a comfortable armchair and look out over, among other things, Långvind's stream.

At the hotel you have access to free wireless broadband connection (wifi). A fresh bathroom with toilet is located outside the room. Within walking distance of the hotel you will find a charming utility chapel, a cultural protected mansion, an adorable small utility museum, a blast furnace ruin and other remains from the mill's heyday. There is also the restaurant Bränderiet where you can have dinner in the evening if you wish. At Kungsgården Långvind, all STF members receive SEK 50 in a discount per day.

Day 1

Skärså and Norrala

Upon arrival at the hotel we recommend a nice bike ride south which goes to the genuine fishing village of Skärså where you can enjoy a good fish meal for lunch at restaurant Albertina. There is also a fish museum, a glass cabin and a sale of crafts and smoked fish. The host couple is happy to assist with tips on current flea markets and strawberry spots nearby.

On the way home you will pass Norrala, where the village's old church and unique forge are self-evident attractions, before departing on a forest road and cycling home to the hotel. Once back home you can take a bike ride down to the sea in Långvind's leisure area and find a private small bathing bay and just enjoy the coolness of the sea. There is also the opportunity to discover the old working environment that is well preserved.

Day 2

World Heritage Site in Söderala

In the morning, the host serves their breakfast with a golden edge from a hearty buffet. Today's bike ride bears off to one of the Hälsingegårds that are on UNESCO's World Heritage list: the farm Erik-Anders in Asta in the village of Söderdala. It is a stately farm, full of unbroken traditions and vivid stories of pride, mystery, romance, luxury and hard work. The farm tells a story of an era in Hälsingland when fertile lands and rich forests created wealth that enabled a way to build and furnish houses in a way that is not found in any other part of the country - yes, maybe not even in Worldwide. Here you will also find a memory room for the jazz musician Jan Johansson, a furniture exhibition and a shop with new and old. During the summer, you can see the beautiful garden, recreated from what it looked like in 1920, and enjoy the farm cafe's organic coffee and homemade bread.

Once back home, you are welcome to settle down in the family room and provide yourself with cozy afternoon coffee after the end of the tour. Maybe read a book or play some social games.
