Welcome to a fantastic bike package in a calm and relaxing environment. Here cultural attractions are interspersed with delicious local delicacies and dramatic scenery. How about cycling to Skåne's most beautiful volcano? And in the afternoon, something homemade for coffee is served.

The roads around Söderåsen and in the Rönneådalen are many and cozy. They offer beautiful and varied scenery with many attractions, local delicacies and places with high natural and cultural values along the way. Here on Söderåsen, for example, you will encounter dramatic nature with deep fractured valleys, steep slopes, flowing water and lush woodland-like noble deciduous forest.

Family friendly and quiet
Once back at the guest house you can enjoy sitting outdoors on the lovely grounds. On the large lawn, strong small legs can run off surplus energy and travel far from busy roads. At one end of the site there is also a cozy playground with a slide, playhouse and the ship Hoppetossan. There is also a dog that loves children, two goats and some chickens that you as a guest are happy to get to know. At Söderåsen guest house, there is also a dressing room in one shower room, cot for rent, highchairs in the dining room and highchair for children and sulky to borrow for walks and walks in the beautiful surroundings.

In the evening you can rent the barbecue if you wish or you can take a short walk to Skäralid's restaurant which is located right at the entrance to Söderåsens National Park and its Nature Room. There you can enjoy organic, seasonal and locally produced food before you can settle in with the cool sheets and fluffy duvets for yet another good night's sleep.

Day 1

Discover the area around Söderåsen

From Pensionat Söderåsen, it is not far to the nearest attraction or farm shop where you can taste delicious delicacies. If you just want to make a short trip in the area, you can cycle to the mushroom forest, the bathing lake or to one of the staff at the guest house Söderåsen's strawberry spots.

For the road cyclist there are many good trails on the ridge with varying degrees of challenge and the slope from Ljungbyhed up the ridge is said to be a real height for you who want to challenge yourself with a long and sucking uphill. For mountaineering cyclists, there are many nice trails, both those that go out and cross-country. Here is also the 5 km long mountain bike trail that runs through coniferous and deciduous forests on the slopes of Söderås. The forest roads are easily cycled but although not extreme it is still challenging enough. Once back at the guesthouse you are offered something freshly baked and tempting good for coffee at three and you can sit back in the large garden overlooking Söderåsen, Skäralidsravinen and Kopparhatten. In the evening we recommend a short bike ride, less than 5 km, to the cozy restaurant Stationen in the village of Röstånga where you can enjoy a good dinner.

Day 2

Cycle along a nature- and cultural tour

After a good night's sleep in one of the bright and beautifully decorated rooms, you can enjoy watching the sun rise over the surrounding greenery. Breakfast is served in the dining room and guarantees a good start to the day. If the weather is nice, we recommend that you bring your breakfast out into the garden and enjoy the morning sun. It serves coffee, tea, juice, sandwiches with different toppings, fil / yogurt with cereals and boiled eggs every morning. Some freshly baked surprise also pops up. With you in the pack you have a picnic lunch.

Today's bike ride goes to Jällabjär, Skåne's most beautiful volcano mountain. Yes, because there are actually several volcanoes here in the area, all from the Jurassic period. The road there winds between grazing cows and horses, blackberry strands and beautiful stone walls. Shortly after Anderstorp you pass the famous eneback and shortly thereafter you cycle past a glade where there is a memorial stone over the Battle of Anderstorp from 1677. Here is the place to sit down and enjoy something to eat or drink.

Nice accommodation and nice staff. A little far 6km to the nearest place to eat in the evening, but you could fix food yourself if you had known.
