The bicycle package "Kattegattleden Skåne" follows parts of the new sea-close cycle path Kattegattleden. The tour starts in Halmstad and ends in Helsingborg. You cycle near the coast and sea during the whole trip, 4 days, with 3 nights. The experiences are lined up along the way - cozy cafes, restaurants, fishing villages, harbors, craft shops, farm shops, castles, vineyards and much more!

You cycle the Skåne part of the Kattegatt Trail across the beautiful Kulla and Bjäre peninsula via the summer paradise Torekov. The package includes three nights with breakfast in a double room. Sheets, towels and cleaning are included in all accommodation. If you have your own car parked at the departure point, it is easy to get back there by train or bus after the completed bike ride (you can bring your bike on board the Öresund train). If you come from Jutland in Denmark, there is Stena Line's new ferry connection between Grenå-Halmstad. Feel free to come a day earlier and experience the summer town of Halmstad, sleep well in hotels and charge for the bike ride. See price for extra overnight stay under "Possible options" above.

Please note that the price is slightly higher 12 June-15 August 2021 (from SEK 5,280 / person and accommodation in a double room).

Day 1

Halmstad - Båstad

You start in Halmstad and follow the bay of Laholms south through pine forests and along the kilometer-long sandy beaches to the tennis motopole Båstad in Skåne. Here you spend the night at a cozy guest house.

Day 2

Båstad - Torekov - Vejbystrand

From Båstad you start the day with a steep but rather short hill up the Bjäre peninsula. The reward comes shortly after with lovely downhill slopes towards the well-known summer resort of Torekov. Then follow the coast south towards Vejbystrand, where you spend the night at a newly renovated and charming hostel just a short distance from the beach.

Day 3

Vejbystrand - Arild

You follow the trail south through the Skäldervik Bay to the small town of Ängelholm and out on the Kulla Peninsula. Here you spend the night at a Scanian winery in Arild.

Day 4

Arild - Helsingborg

You continue your trip over to the western side of the Kulla Peninsula and cycle south near the coast. With Denmark across the sea to the west you pass charming well-known coastal communities and the town of Höganäs, well known for late ceramics. The cycle tour ends in Helsingborg, where there is much to discover. If you have rented bicycles you can keep them all day.

Stay an extra night in Helsingborg and "tour" over to Helsingör. The ferry takes only 20 minutes.

Nice and well-planned good help if needed during the trip. We added a night in the Bay - a real gem - recommended

A little problem getting out of Halmstad during the construction work at Andersberg. We found no signs leading us around. We had a map and are literate so it worked out. Your whole arrangement was very good and the luggage carrier called a few times to make sure it turned out right, honorable! We are very satisfied and look forward to using your services again, as we have many miles left of the Kattegattleden to cycle off.//. Kurt

Good bike ride. Luggage collection worked well except for the last part when we were to pick up in Helsingborg. Hard to find the place and they closed at 3. A little tricky if you wanted to stay a little longer on the road (Sofiero tex). When we were there at 2 pm the luggage was not there. It arrived after 4 pm We had no rush but if you had booked a train ... Suggest the trip from Helsingborg-Halmstad instead, it almost always blows southwest! Then you have more wind in your back. We are very satisfied otherwise.

Wonderful bike paths with clear markings where to go, beautiful views and nature. Works great with luggage transports and very nice with different accommodations. Very good response.

Travelshop in Helsingborg was not easy to find. The store is located in the southern part of Knutpunkten and it was not easy when you naturally enter the northern part. It would have been easier if Golden Tours had attached luggage tags to our suitcases. Friendly person at Travelshop helped us get things organized. Luggage transport worked very well. The accommodation overall was very good especially the positive impression we got from the hostel in Vejbystrand. A small warning may well be in place for the downhill slope at Norrviken's gardens just before Båstad. The bike should have at least 2 independent brakes for safe descent. We would go back to Helsingborg where we had the car parked by train. We were a little surprised that the railway station in Båstad was so remote. Getting the bikes on the train would not have gone so painlessly unless the conductor helped us to get rid of all the passengers sitting where the bikes would be standing. Long-term parking of the car in Helsingborg free of charge did not happen as all these places were occupied. It had to be SEK 5 / hour for 4 days on Östra Sandgatan. Overall an interesting trip despite the weather being only sunny on the first day.
