In Värmland there are the deep forests, the tranquility and the fresh air. Here is also the storytelling tradition and the sense of magical realism found in Selma Lagerlöf's novels. When you cycle out to Geijersholm outside Hagfors one summer evening to sleep over at the manor, you understand what it is all about. A homely hotel with personalized service.

It was Bengt Gustav Geijer who in the first half of the 18th century had an ironworks built on the site and it was named Geijersholm after him. The manor house dates from the early 1900s and was used as a residence by a master master (an old-fashioned forestry education) and hunter master until the late 1940s. The classic atmosphere is as well preserved as the building.

The place is peaceful with the forest on the knot, the rooms are spacious and the service is personal. Nearby is Lake Ämten where you can swim or canoe. Geijersholm Manor is a place for relaxation and well-being. At the manor you are offered Bed & Breakfast, however you can even pre-order dinner if desired and enjoy the food in the nice dining room.

Hagfors is about 5 kilometers away. There are shops and a Monica Zetterlund museum. Christer Sjögren, who grew up in the city, also stands for the musical tradition in Hagfors. With Geijersholm Manor as a starting point, you also have the opportunity to hike or cycle along the Klarälven River, fish or maybe play a round of golf at Uddeholm GK's golf course about 20 kilometers away.

There are single rooms with shared toilet and shower and rooms for two and three persons with their own toilet and shower. The bedrooms are upstairs. Upstairs is the breakfast room and a TV room. Pets are not allowed.
