The "Kattegattleden Halland" bicycle package follows parts of the new sea-close cycle path Kattegattleden. You cycle past kilometers of sandy beaches, fishing villages and meadows, and through Halland's charming coastal towns, Halmstad, Falkenberg, Varberg and Särö. The tour starts in Halmstad and ends in Gothenburg, 6 days, 5 nights.

Bicycle packages start in Halmstad and end in Gothenburg. If you have your own car, parked at the departure point, it is easy to get back there by train or bus after the completed bike ride (you can bring your bike on board the Öresund train). The cycle route follows the Kattegatt Trail along the salt-sprayed coast, as close to the sea as possible. You cycle past kilometers of sandy beaches, fishing villages and meadows, and through Halland's charming coastal towns, Halmstad, Falkenberg, Varberg and Särö.

The Kattegat Trail is safe, secure and mostly car-free or goes on low-traffic roads in a bike-friendly landscape with no difficult slopes. The package includes five nights with breakfast in a double room. Four nights in 3-4 star hotels and one night at cozy Bed & Breakfast (own shower and toilet in the room, sheets, towels and cleaning included).

Please note that the price is slightly higher 11 June-14 August 2022 (from SEK 8,290 / person and accommodation in a double room).

Take the opportunity to stay for an extra night and experience the summer town of Halmstad. Sleep well in hotel, centrally and near the train station, and charge for the bike ride. Or would you like to stay for an extra night in Gothenburg and visit Liseberg, shop or just take a boat trip on the canals and rest your legs? See price for extra overnight stay under "Possible options".

We had expected more contact with the water during the tour. In parts it was very good. The bike renter was very nice and accommodating.

Everything was very good except that the electric bike I rented did not work so well. Got a new bike on day 4 though. Ventilation very loud last night. Fantastic weather until the last day.

Hope it turned out right. We are very satisfied with the overall experience, hired you last year as well and intend to do more bike rides with you as organizer. Thank you for making our week memorable. Nice and varied accommodation, all were nice and had a high level of service. Luggage in place on time at each stop. The Kattegattleden itself had some shortcomings with the signage, which made us doubtful of direction, especially in Gbg. In some places, bushes had grown for the signs.

We have cycled in Germany, Austria and France and think that the accommodation chosen on the trip has largely been in the same class. Overall, a little in the more expensive team, ie value for money a little lower compared to other countries. But the luggage was delivered in good time at all hotels, great value that it is in place when you arrive. Since we did not eat anything other than breakfast it is difficult to leave a review about the food, the breakfasts were very good. Due to Corona a bit tricky in some hotels because it sometimes got a bit crowded but worked as well as you could ask for. We had two hotels with SPA. One of them included a SPA, but unfortunately they had not announced that they needed to book an appointment at the SPA. Luckily it worked out anyway, but it would have been good if we had been made aware that we should book an appointment in the SPA in advance. Nice cycle paths, most on cycle paths but some on ordinary country roads, sometimes with a bit of traffic.

Well arranged tour. It all worked fine, even with the luggage which was always ready even though we arrived early at some of the accommodations. Sweet and friendly people too. A bit too short for some of the days, but OK. However, the electric bike was not so good, exotic wheels and a too soft bicycle frame and a charger that did not work. But KiteKalle was quick to deliver another charger.
