A two-day cycling package with accommodation, bike or bike storage, dinner and nice tour suggestions await you at Lugnåsberget Ekohotell. It's quiet and nice here and after today's adventure, either a wood-fired sauna or a dip awaits the lake. Or both.
Lugnåsberget has made its own cycle tour where you get to cycle in a varied landscape, and among other things experience part of the national cycle path Vänerleden. The tour goes from Lugnåsberget to Mariestad on quiet roads. In Mariestad, you have lunch wherever you want and then the tour continues on the Vänerleden south along Vänern on winding roads. After a swim in Vänern, you turn off towards Lugnås/Björsäter, pass under E20 and then up the mountain back to Lugnåsberget Ekohotell.
The tour is suitable for both spring, summer and autumn, because here it is just as lovely all year round. In spring, nature awakens with the scents of chives, hawthorn and lilac, and white sedges crowd the slopes. One is amazed that nature has so many different greens
shades on trees and ground. You often have the entire Ekohotellet to yourself, which is also the case in autumn. Then nature offers colorful fireworks and high air instead, and the wood-fired sauna is a perfect end to the day.
In the summer there are a little more people on Lugnåsberget and the bathing spots down by the Vristulven lake you have to share with others. On the other hand, it is open daily in the Qvarnstensgruvan museum with views of the mountain.
You live comfortably in your own room with your own entrance and wc/shower with the wood-burning sauna nearby. The breakfast basket is ready to eat when you wake up and you can enjoy dinner whenever you want. Maybe you want to take it down to the lake.
