Karlstad, the largest city in Värmland, is renowned for its abundant sunshine and ever-present water features. Often called the "Sun City," it is situated on a delta created by the many branches of the Klarälven River. The southern city center borders the coast of Lake Vänern and the picturesque island of Hammarö, which extends into the northern parts of the archipelago. Karlstad boasts numerous traffic-free bike paths and serves as a nexus for two national cycling routes: the Unionsleden, leading to Moss in Norway, and the Vänerleden, encircling Lake Vänern. Additionally, the unique Klarälvsbanan bike trail offers 100 km of car-free cycling through the captivating Värmland landscape.

The price includes premium electric bikes or high-quality 7-speed bikes. As an option, it is also possible to book a box bike if you e.g. want to take more luggage, the dog or barbecue equipment on the bike ride. All day trips are available as a GPX file so you can navigate digitally with your mobile.

Nice bike package. Recommended. Good accommodation and smooth delivery of the bikes. The only thing that was a bit stupid was that we had decided delivery of the bikes at 9.00. It was changed at the last minute to 9.45 and notified via an email that I did not see until the morning. But no big deal but you always want to leave early in the morning to get the most out of the day.
