Landskrona – Helsingborg
Western Skåne offers saltier water and hillier landscapes than in south-eastern Skåne. Here the fields are more undulating and the fishing villages are closer.
On the barely three miles between Landskrona and Helsingborg you have time to experience lots! North of Landskrona you will soon come to Borstahusen which is an idyll in itself! This old fishing village dating from the 18th century has its own fish smokehouse. Here you have a view of Ven. Take the opportunity to take a detour to the cozy Ålabodarna which has a cozy little harbor, bathing jetty and restaurant. Cycle on through the rolling and beautiful landscape in the slopes of Glumslöv that brings to mind Tuscany.
Just before Helsingborg you come to the picturesque fishing village Råå. In Helsingborg there are lots of alternatives for you who are interested in history, beautiful castles, wild animals or beautiful nature. Here you will find Sofiero Castle with a large park garden with over 10,000 rhododendron bushes. Just outside Helsingborg you will find the open-air museum Fredriksdal. From here you can cycle on the Kattegattleden all the way to Gothenburg.
