The route offers winding roads and wonderful views in the hilly well-preserved natural and cultural landscape on Österlen.

Along the trail is the 18th century baroque castle Christinehof located with the ecopark which invites to more walks. Right next door is Skåne's oldest coffee house, Alunbruket, where you can enjoy Swedish coffee in a wonderful cultural environment. A stone's throw from the trail is also Hallamölla waterfall, with a well-preserved mill, is Skåne's highest fall with a total fall height of 23 meters.

High above the Baltic Sea, with a mile-wide view, is Vitaby church with a stepped gable. Next door to the church is Hvitaby kyrkby gårdsmejeri with a small sweet farm shop and Vitaby Blåbär which offers self-picking.

The surroundings are varied and consist of beautiful agricultural landscapes, pastures and forests. Kivik is the village where the apple is in focus with Äppelriket, Kivik's temple and the annual Apple Market. Meet the growers and experience the various farm shops with local ingredients. Experience the old fishing village with a tasteful mix of old and new buildings. Pause at cozy cafes and restaurants for all tastes. Which will be your favorite?

The end of Linderödsåsen Stenshuvud National Park rises to the south. Stop and hike up to the top of the mountain!

Just north of Baskemölla is the Tjörnedala hiking area. The beautiful nature is fragile and the hiking trail is not suitable for bicycles, so take a break from pedaling and experience the beautiful nature on foot.

The capital of Österlen, Simrishamn, dates back to the 12th century. Picturesque pastel-colored houses with beautifully carved doors are typical of the area. Experience the city's museums that depict history and also modern times: Österlen Museum, Gösta Werner & the Sea, Autoseum, Garveri Museum and not least Österlen Electric totem. Shop in the city's stores and enjoy a tasty meal with local ingredients at the city's restaurants and cafés. A lovely beach can be found north of the city as well as outdoor swimming pools with temperate sea water.
