Red signs "104 Lelångenledenleden".

Lelångenleden is an adventurous and scenic bike trail that takes you from Årjäng in the forests of Värmland, through the lake landscape of Dalsland, and on down to the coastal town of Uddevalla in Bohuslän. The route offers a unique combination of forest, lakes, culture and coast.

Along the way you cycle on winding gravel roads that follow the Dalsland Canal, through dense forests and past idyllic small towns where you can stop at cafés, swimming spots and local attractions. A particularly memorable part of the trail follows the old embankment of the Lelångenbanan, which provides a historical insight into the region's railway era.

The surface consists of a mixture of asphalt, gravel roads and low-traffic country roads, as well as some cycle lanes. The terrain is hilly and in several places there are steeper sections, which makes the trail particularly appreciated by cyclists seeking both exercise and nature experiences.
