The scenic Ätradalsleden offers open landscapes, miles of forests and lovely lakes. The cycle path stretches from Falköping in the north to Falkenberg in the south, where it connects to the Kattegatt Trail. The trail is a total of 200 km long. You cycle on low-traffic country roads and gravel roads, about half the trail runs on paved embankments completely without car traffic. About 90% asphalt.
What is distinctive about the area around Ätradalsleden is all the cozy food and coffee places. You don't have to cycle far before the next charming little farm café or restaurant appears. Stop and enjoy locally grown food and locally produced coffee. Along the trail you pass many beautiful nature reserves, including Frälsegården, Baktrågen, Torpanäset, Korpeboberg's deciduous forests and Fegen's nature reserve. There is also plenty of cozy accommodation. Choose between staying on a working farm, in a cottage by a lake or in a comfortable hotel along the way. Approx. 90% asphalt, 10% gravel.
