

Follow quiet back roads through scenic Tunaberg and discover a bike ride filled with experiences for the whole family. Bring lunch in your bike basket and stop at one of the barbecue areas in Sjöskogen, where the vast views of Bråviken spread out in front of you. On hot days, several bathing areas invite you to take a refreshing dip. The tour is best ended with a coffee at one of the area's charming summer cafés - a well-deserved break after a day on two wheels.
The bike ride starts by the sea. Here is a quiet and pleasant guest harbor with wonderful views. Bråviken is a long narrow bay framed by coniferous forest, cliffs and quiet bays. Here, nature moves at a slow pace, with the scent of pine and waves.
You cycle through the Sjöskogen nature reserve. The Sörmlandsleden trail runs through the area and you can swim from both cliffs and sandy beaches. The slopes are covered in old rocky pine forest with gnarled pines and aged trees that bear witness to the passage of time. Sjöskogsberget rises 58 meters above sea level. From the top you have a mile-wide view of the outer archipelago of Bråviken.
A short distance from the road down to the water you will find a cozy swimming spot. Here you can stop and take a dip.
Here, Simonberget rises with its steep rock walls and sweeping views of forests and archipelago. It is Sörmland's most dramatic nature reserve. Follow the path up through the pine forest and enjoy the silence, the height and the feeling of real wilderness.
This is Södermanland's only wooden church, built in the 17th century and surrounded by peaceful nature. With its red timber facade and fine interior, it is an atmospheric destination. Quiet, historic and still alive today.
In the heart of Koppartorp is a small gallery with great breadth. Here, art and crafts in the form of photography, textiles, glass, ceramics, forging and wood meet. An inspiring stop for those who want to discover local expression and creativity in a historic environment.
Just outside Nävekvarn, along the Sörmlandsleden trail, stands the viewing tower on Kungstorpsberget. From the top, a mile-wide view of the Bråviken archipelago and the surrounding forest landscape awaits. A highlight both literally and figuratively in the Tunaberg wilderness.
At Masugnsdammen is Svalbergsgården, a cozy summer café where homemade meets mill history. Sit down in the greenery with a cup of coffee and saffron pancake, and take the opportunity to peek into the small museum that tells about the area and the history of the mill.
In the middle of Nävekvarn is the old granary Gula Kvarn - today a vibrant meeting place with café, art, music and markets. Here, history mixes with the present in a lush garden environment, where you can enjoy a waffle, listen to live music or just take a break during your bike ride.
Right on the quayside in Nävekvarns harbor is Systrarna Brådhe's Hamnkrog - a summery meeting place with homemade food, coffee breads and a sparkling view of Bråviken. Here you can sit down in the sun, enjoy good food and sometimes even live music in the evening breeze.
This tour is very easy to do and does not require any special skills. You cycle on quiet, rural back roads (asphalt 75%) which makes the tour perfect for both big and small cyclists.

You can travel to Nyköping by train and bus. On Mälartåg you can bring your bike if there is space, the same applies to the rural buses. Bus 561 runs from Nyköping to Nävekvarn.
