The bike ride around Erken offers a peaceful journey through one of Roslagen's most atmospheric landscapes. Here the roads wind through forests, open fields and nature reserves, with glimpses of the clear lake. A perfect day trip for those who want to combine nature, culture and relaxation in a magical light over the lake.

Erken is, after Lake Mälaren, the largest lake in Stockholm County. The name is old Swedish and means "the shiny one". The round trip is 34 km long and runs on quiet roads - perfect for a relaxing day trip with picnics and nature experiences. Around the lake are twelve nature reserves with varying habitats, all within just a few kilometers of the shore.

On two occasions you will cycle a short distance along road 76, which is busier. Here you need to be extra careful.
