This bike tour takes you through large parts of the Kristianstad Wetland. Along the way you will pass visitor points in the biosphere reserve, attractions, farm shops and eateries.
Sanddala Bed & Breakfast is a newly renovated 19th century farm with a beautiful traditional reed roof. The farm is run by the host couple Anders and Susanne. Here you can book nice and personally decorated rooms and enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out on the day's bike ride. In the area there are plenty of winding small roads and several cycle paths that are almost car-free.
Sanddala Gård has a total of four double rooms. Free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs are available in all rooms and there is a shared well-equipped kitchen where you can cook your own dinner. There is a toilet upstairs and a bathroom with shower and toilet downstairs. Pets are not allowed. In the garden there is access to outdoor furniture and a barbecue area during the summer months. You can park your car in the yard and store your bike safely overnight.
On the farm you can buy locally produced meat boxes. The range varies according to availability and season. Don't miss the farm's calm Highland Cattle grazing across the road. They are a common photo subject and are always happy to be photographed.
