In the magnificent Warmland nature a few kilometers from the Klarälven lies Dömle Herrgård dating back to 1446. Thanks to the nearby Klarälvsbanan with fine asphalt and straight stretch, the accessibility by bicycle is excellent. Here you get a manor stay with a gold edge in the form of fantastic kitchen, wine cellar and outdoor jacuzzi in the park.
Dömle Herrgård is beautifully overlooking the Smårissjön. A perfect place for a romantic stay for a couple. There are lots of activities if you want to try something other than cycling. You can go down to the beach and swim, or fish for perch and pike. Those who enjoy golf have a course nearby and of course you can take a scenic walk in the surroundings. You can also take a paddle and you who enjoy exciting nature experiences can look out for beavers, moose and other wildlife.
When it comes to housing, the classic mansion style applies, but a touch of luxury of course. This applies from the standard room to the Dömles Suite, which is a romantic dream with its own fireplace. The rooms are in different buildings: Herrgården, Frugården and Sjögården. Everywhere full of atmosphere and comfortably equipped. All rooms have a coffee machine, comfortable bathrobes, TV and free internet connection.
Klarälvsbanan starting in Karlstad and continuing the Klarälvsleden trail that goes all the way to Sysslebäck is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys cycling in nature. The first 90 kilometers are on asphalt and then 120 kilometers on a mixture of asphalt and gravel. From Dömle Herrgård it is only three kilometers to the Klarälvsbanan.
Note! With its romantic setting, Dömle Herrgård is a very popular place for weddings. Therefore, it may be more difficult to get a room on the weekends during summer time.
