This bike tour takes you through large parts of the Kristianstad Wetland. Along the way you will pass visitor points in the biosphere reserve, attractions, farm shops and eateries.
On the beautiful Nävlingeåsen, in one of Kristianstad's nature areas, you will find Bockebodagården Bed & Breakfast. Here you live in the middle of the forest, with cycling distance to both Kristianstad and Hässleholm. On Sundays you can also have coffee in the farm's nice café.
You are welcome to book an overnight stay in the cozy Drängastugan, a historic building that in the past was used as a servant's residence for the employees of the farm. The cottage has beds for up to 5 people. Pets are also welcome! You live comfortably with your own kitchen, bathroom and wireless Wifi. Outside the house there are plenty of winding country roads, paths and forest roads.
The history of Bockebodagården goes far back in time. The first mention of the farm is in the 12th century. In 1182, the nunnery in Vä received the farm as a gift from King Valdemar. Today the farm grows its own vegetables, root vegetables, fruit and berries. Everything is grown on nature's terms, without toxins and artificial fertilizers. The sheep on the farm help the horses and cows to keep the landscape open.
