Those of you who enjoy cycling north of Stockholm can enjoy fantastic surroundings that have left an imprint on history. In Fredman's epistle no. 80, Bellman visits the Första Torpet inn and writes about "Brunnsvikens bölja klar". When you yourself are done with the day's cycling in the area of Järva and Ulriksdal and want to stay bike-friendly, Järva Park Hotel is an excellent option. In the Royal National City Park there is Ulriksdal Castle from the 17th century with a beautiful castle park where Igelbäcken runs. In fact, the great bald Bellman (1740-1795) is still nearby, at least as a statue. It can be admired at the Kräftriket near Brunnsviken. The name Kräftriket comes from the Inn Torpet served crayfish that were caught in the nearby water. Today, Stockholm University is in the area.
