In the midst of the magnificent scenery of Bergslagen is the Wilderness Lodge in nature reserve Malingsbo-Kloten, a sub-area of the Bergslagen cycling cycle area. From Wilderness Lodge (4 of each independently) cycle paths start and end. These are old farms with a tradition of forges and cottages from the 17th century. Today, the Malingsbo-Kloten area is a nature reserve with lots of forest and water. At Wilderness Lodge there is every opportunity to engage in adventure in the wilderness and various outdoor activities all year round.

You can rent canoes (how about a night kayaking?) Kayaks, rowing boats and of course bikes. Anyone interested in the local wildlife can go on a beaver or moose safari. Nearby are three lakes with fishing waters and opportunities for swimming. There are camping equipment to rent and opportunities to hike.

You must stock up on your own before your visit to the Västmanland wilderness. Wilderness Lodge offers a refrigerator, a kitchen and a dining area. The accommodation is spacious and has wonderful views of nature while being small and familiar. There are double rooms, triple rooms, quadruple rooms and a family room. Please note that breakfast and bed linen and towels can be purchased as an option.

Wilderness Lodge is located along the Swedish route. Other cycle paths starting from Wilderness Lodge:

The roundabout 10 km
