The STF-linked and nature-friendly guest house is next door to pasture beds and here you can experience both the barren sea beds and the miles of beaches on the same day when the island is the narrowest here.
The building is originally a manor house dating from the 19th century and just a few hundred meters away, rich orchid meadows with a fabulous flower park of orchids, Johannes Keys, gun burners, fly flowers and, later in the summer, tower bridges.
Sleep in bed - or hammock
Scattered in various buildings around the yard are everything from single rooms to double rooms, quadruple rooms and individual small cottages. The beds are comfortable spring beds, but here is also the opportunity to sleep in Mexican hammocks - unusual, and perhaps a little surprising, comfortable to sleep in.
Beautiful bike rides
However, cycling in the area is slightly out of the ordinary and you can choose between following the stone coast along the west coast and enjoying the harsh landscape, picturesque fishing camps and rauks. Along the east coast runs a two mile long sandy beach and you pass a number of farm shops offering Öland delicacies. We highly recommend that the evening end on the west coast where you can sit and watch the sun go down at the same time if you enjoy a picnic basket filled with locally produced products such as goat cheese, body cakes, sausages, strawberries, vegetables and bread from the bakery of the area.
A beautiful bike ride, about 50-60 km cycling goes through Neptuni fields
The guesthouse staff is happy to advise on long or short bicycle tours that are right for you. A beautiful tour that goes to the northernmost parts of the island goes past beautiful Neptuni fields and we tip that a little extra here: The cycling towards Byxelkrok goes on winding roads and on the road you pass Skäftekärr with its iron age village, Böda with its mile-long sandy beaches. , the fabulous Troll Forest, the famous lighthouse Erik and beautiful Neptuni fields.
Number of beds: In the manor house there are 7 double rooms. There are also other houses in the yard with, for example, family rooms. You can choose to book single rooms, double rooms, family rooms or cozy retro cottages. Pets are welcome (pre-booked).
